A home that works with your brain was not built by accident.
It was built by someone whose brain needed one too.
I'm a mom to two little kids. I have ADHD, chronic pain, and autism. For a long time, my days felt like a loop of starting, stopping, forgetting, and trying again.
Traditional planners didn't stick. Routines broke the second my capacity dipped. I'd organize a shelf, set up a system, and three weeks later wonder where it all went.
What helped was something simpler — a small, repeatable structure that didn't ask me to remember everything or decide where to begin. I built that for myself first, then started seeing how many other people needed the same thing.
I worked as a home organizer in Southern Maine for years before launching ADHD at Home. I'd go into real families' homes and watch the same pattern repeat: smart, capable people stuck in homes that asked too much of them.
The systems weren't bad. They depended on memory, decisions, and energy people didn't always have. We'd organize a space, it would work for a while, then it would quietly fall apart. Not because anyone failed — because the system did.
That shifted my work. I stopped focusing on getting things "put away" and started designing environments that carry more of the load. The goal was never perfection. It was a home that keeps working on the days when you don't.
Four things, on a wall.
- Homes run on cycles. Not willpower.
- Checklists belong on paper. Not in your head.
- Less thinking about chores means more space for the rest of life.
- A tool should meet you on your lowest-capacity day. Not your best one.
ADHD at Home started as a product for people like me.
ADHD adults and overwhelmed parents who have tried every planner on the shelf and watched each one fail by the second week.
It works for anyone whose systems collapse under real-life conditions: new moms navigating postpartum brain fog, caregivers managing a parent's memory decline, teenagers learning to run a life for the first time.
If your brain is tired of holding everything, you're in the right place.
